Way Out Cinderella

The Chagrin Valley Little Theater contacted me in October of 1997, for the purpose of writing music for another children's play entitled Way Out Cinderella. Cinderella is from a country called Moravia and she is a Rock and Roll Princess who marries a Prince. He is enthralled with America's "Rock N Roll".

One of the songs I wrote is You're My Teenage Sunfish - which is a funny rock song. Another is a Kinks' sounding lament, sung by Cinderella's mother who is afraid that Cinderella is becoming an old maid. I also wrote incidental music, which includes a Moravian waltz and a John Cage-like background song.
